Carp890 Posted March 21, 2023 Share Posted March 21, 2023 Just purchased a aquaclear filter, got it from the states took weeks to get I'm in UK can't get one hear any way fitted it filled with water turned it on worked great for a few minutes then stopped. The pump was very hot, gave it a while to cool down still not working. Took the Pump off. I then noticed on the Pump it says 120v ac UK voltage 240v have l burnt the moter out. And vis versa – I have a nice (aka cheap) 220v/50Hz flow pump if anyone needs it. Was a bargain – only about half the cost of a current converter! 🤦♂️ Quote Link to comment
