jasonrusso Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 I have a pistol shrimp with a tiny yellow watchman goby in a 34G Red Sea reef. I just got a fish delivery today, there was a mistake and I received another larger yellow watchman goby. If I put the new YWG in the tank, will he kill the smaller one? Will they both live in the burrows with the shrimp (he has tunneled out pretty much the whole tank). I'm afraid if I put him in my large fowler he will get eaten by a larger fish. demonclownfish Posted March 8, 2023 Share Posted March 8, 2023 Depends if it's a male and you had a female or vice versa. YWG will commonly pair up with a member of the opposite sex. If not, he may bully the other one out of the burrow and shrimp Quote Link to comment
