Puddle
This is for sale on the local craigslist, I can not find any information of the light. Does anyone know if it will support soft corals? 1 Quote Link to comment
seabass
Without seeing the specs, I'd speculate that the light is simply there to help view the freshwater fish that are normally kept in there. I can't imagine that it'd support any photosynthetic corals. 2 Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
The tank looks like it might only have 6" of water in it....VERY easy to light 6" of water. BUT....that light looks pure-white. Corals will be ugly and algae will be extra-happy. Could be an OK micro-planted tank, maybe? 1 Quote Link to comment
mcarroll
CORRECTION From their website: https://www.hygger-online.com/product/5-gallon-fish-tank/ Quote Package includes:1 x 5 Gallon LED Tank (16.65″ x 9″ x 12.4″)1 x Water pump1 x Power Adapter1 x Glass hood1 x Rainwater outlet1 x Duck’s mouth outlet1 x User manual1 x A bag of filter media (bio-cotton, bio-balls, carbon) Rainwater outlet??? The lights are blue and white, but in the opposite ratio.....2 white for every 1 blue......so corals will still be ugly and algae will still be happy. 2 Quote Link to comment
