silicone between tank and filter broke.

Hello!

About a year ago I bought an all in one aquarium, and it has been going very well, however I recently noticed that the silicone between the main tank and one of the sides of the filtration area had broken allowing water to go through. How can i fix this without having to remove water or fish, is there even a way?

thanks!

There is no fixing it with water in the tank.  You'd have to drain the tank, clean off the old silicone, reapply a new bead, and let it dry a couple of days.  That said, it's probably fine as is; it doesn't have to be water tight.  Do you have a picture showing what's happening?

I've been running a pico AIO with non-water-tight filter compartment seams (it had a shipping issue) for awhile now. As long as there's still plenty of flow in the main tank, it's probably not worth the trouble to fix.

Ok here’s a picture, it seems to be ok and I probably won’t try and fix it then. Thanks!

Woops seems like the picture didn’t load.
