IO/RC on sale at petsmart

Comes to $30 a bucket (20% off) or $24 a bucket (35% auto ship)

No limit on how many you can order at $30 it seems. Limit two for the autoship, I believe you can do autoship discount once a year.

Also applies to reef crystals.

Shipping is free for 'treats member' which is free to sign up for and technically earns points.

Thanks.  Nice.

But I wonder if it's like my grocery store where they put stuff on sale in preparation to jack up the price once the sale is over.

Weird....I only see that price in my cart. 🤷‍♂️

I think that's even cheaper than LFS's can order Instant Ocean to sell, BTW.  I know it's less than the store I used to work at paid for it back in the mid- late-2010's.

Ya you have to add it to your cart.

petco is a mass chain so they probably get a cheaper price then a LFS. Just a guess.

or it could be they just don’t care if they don’t make anything since they have plenty of other products, cat and dog stuff and other ways they make money.

It's so cheap it does make one speculate WTF just a little.

They may be a mass chain, but they don't sell squat in terms volume on something like this....and salt eventually spoils in the warehouse.

They sell dog food and glofish, FFS.

🤷‍♂️

Times have changed.  (Again.)  LOL

lol, well they have sales often enough it moves. I get almost all my salt form petco and petsmart since it’s around 25-30 on sale.

I just got the big 60 lb box at petco for $27 early December.

I don’t think I’ve paid more the 30 a bucket or box in a few years. I don't really expect it to last but I can hope.

Wow.  I really can't imagine they're getting it for much less than that.

(Every time I go in PetcoSmart, the salt is always full list price.  WTF??)

The instore prices don't match online for many products. It is not just salt.

You either order online for pickup

or you bring the item up to the front and show them the price online and they will price match it (maybe not in this case since it says online only but you could still order pick up)

They sent me a $10 off coupon in the mail once so I brought the petco salt up... had them price match it to the sale price on their website then stacked the coupon on top of that.

I promise I am not a crazy coupon lady with 10000 bottles of soap, ziplocks, kleenex, and other bullshit.

I do have a small hoard of salt, 2 part, and RODI filters though.

Having two prices for one product, depending on who's asking...  😐

Isn't there a name for that?   Seems like there should be.

haha you know a lot of companies do that right, Best Buy, Home Depot, Target, Walmart, Kohl's, Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dicks...

you see where I am going? Basically every big retail chain may have a different price online then in store.

Where is that rock you been living under haha 🙂
