burrito
my feather duster just lost his crown. im pissed about it becuase i see no reason for it to have shed its crown. water specs are perfect. and everything in the tank is "peaceful" but i did see one of my fish nip at it. i see the "worm" put its wierd alien looking head out but he has not feathers... how long b4 he grows a new crown and should i place him in a certain area to help it along? feed it? format32
You should always feed featherdusters. Link to comment

Cameron
I would just leave him where he is and wait. I've had feather dusters that went months without a crown before I saw them out again. It could be as soon as a few days, just keep checking on him and give him a good meal when you see him out again. He will probably come out as soon as he's convinced you that he's dead.
