sadie
I have taken the hood off once and it's a pain removing all the cords and putting them back. Would it be a bad idea to cut out the bottom of the two cord holes? (the little bar at the bottom of the hole that the cord rests on). I'm not sure why they even left them there, but I'm thinking maybe there is a reason that I don't know about. I want to take the hood off today and clean it. 1 Quote Link to comment
sadie
My husband is a genius. He just cut one side of bar so now I can slip my cords in and out easily!! 1 Quote Link to comment
Cpl_Wiggles
I've cut portions out of my 16" BioCube. Those little holes are a pain and I'm always anxious they'll cut/wear the cords after awhile. 2 Quote Link to comment

sadie
in this picture the hood is straight up. He cut the bar on the right side so all I have to do it press it down a bit to slide the cords out and then they slide back in. So nice and easy! 1 Quote Link to comment
