I’m new here. I found these floating around in the water after I cleaned my filter. Can anyone help with identifying what they are and if they’re harmful or beneficial? Sorry for the poor quality it won’t allow me to add a video from my iPhone.
Thank you

Davie

The worms are bristle worms and help clean waste.  The other is a type pod.  Also good .  Some of the best fish food😊.. search for pods and bristle worms on here ton of info..

Awesome! Good to hear both are good. Appreciate the response. I’ll look them up.

For sure on the copepods.

Bristle worms can get huge and take over tanks to an extent.  They are good clean up crew for sure, but I personally do not want too many of them in my tank.  FOR SURE wear gloves at all times when doing anything in your tank as those bristle worm bristles are nasty and extremely difficult to get out of your skin.
