Haha that should be more than ebough flow. One on the back right panel kinda in the corner, and one front left panel about where its at should be PERFECT. Pretty much creates a gyre effect.

Can anyone tell me what I'm seeing on my stag? New growth or something worse? Might be paranoid, but I've never encountered any sps pests and want to make sure it's not something bad!

It almost looks like bute marks, but when I zoom in it gets blurry. Did you dip everything ?

They're a little bit raised, and the same color as the rest of the flesh. I was thinking new polyps but would they grow right there?

And yes everything gets dipped but I only have revive

The ever fabulous yellow leather has arrived! I blame @joshthebox for inspiring me to seek one out. I'll of course be posting regular updates but right now it just doesn't look all that yellow to me

Yay! It looks great. I'm sure it'll colour up nicely in your tank!!!

Hey man, I have similar clowns! Mine were labeled frostbite.

great looking tank so far!

Thanks! They're one of my favorite clowns now for sure. Got them for a great price too couldn't be happier

Leather looks happier today, also new growth on the cut ends of the slimer! The lower cut part is just 2 or 3 tiny green dots right now, but I'm shocked at how fast it recovered and started growing from a fresh cut frag in a new tank

Despite their popularity and touted hardiness, I've never kept a royal gramma until now!

Tank also has a bit of dinos going on, nitrates are almost undetectable while phosphates are quite high around .5. Hoping more natural waste will help more than continued coral food feeding, which is mostly just phosphates

I decided to try out some liquid diatoms from sustainable aquatics this weekend to see if it would help at all with dinos. Our service team has had great success with it in customers tanks so I figured it couldn't hurt. After only 2 additions every other day the dinos are visibly less bad on the sandbed, and the patches on the rock are turning greyish and sloughing off

New Cali tort, plus I finally fixed my bulkheads and installed the new flexy rfg's to try out. Hopefully these don't crack after 3 months like the old ones!

I've had a similar experience with rfg. The 3D printed material doesn't hold up well at all. The VCA nozzles are so overpriced for what they are.

Dinos are still going strong, I've been dosing nitrate just to get them detectable with salifert for the last week or so. This is in combination with the diatoms, I'm thinking I'll just finish the bottle off and pray that's all I need.

Some corals especially the small ones have taken a hit from the dinos, but the healthier pieces don't seem to mind it much

Happy thanksgiving all. Tank is still hanging in there, trying my best not to let the dinos get me down but it's rough seeing most of the coral doing so poorly. Nitrates are holding steady around 10, po4 not so much.

Surprised you dropped in acros so early before waiting out the ugly stages.

I was surprised too.. luckily they weren't expensive but it's still dumb of me. To be fair, it was going well until dinos showed up (or I like to think)

Not looking too bad today! Finally got an itch to clean the back wall as well. Nitrate and phosphates have seem to levelled out a bit, I'm not having to dose phos at all anymore and down to 2ml of nitrate a day

Dinos be gone! I think we're in the clear now, rock is starting to look like real live rock now as well. Love to see all the coralline growth and the stop to a decline in coral health
