Bolo’s Max Nano Cube

Hey everyone, after 10+ years of being out of the hobby, I am back and recently started this Nano which I planned to have it as a mixed reef.

 

It recently finished the initial cycle and I have added a couple of Black Ice Clown as the first residents along with some Trochus and Nassarius snails.

 

Equipment:

• Red Sea Max Nano skimmer w/stock pump

• 20 lbs of Nature’s Ocean Bio-Active live sand
• Two Little Fishies AccuraSea 1 Salt Mix

• Diamondback Goby

Everything is looking good so far and I am very happy with it and can’t wait to start adding more livestock.

Made some improvements to the stand.

Finally decided to install the Hygger Mini Wavemaker since I will be adding the tanks first corals tomorrow.

Did you use your phone or a DSLR to take that photo? I bought a orange filter and it still doesn't look that good.

I’m using my phone paired with the Orphek wide lens kit. With the lens kit, I had to make minor edits still.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered one.  The kit I bought had the filter that only fit on one lens.

Thank you! The green finger is no longer at the top, a snail decided to take it for a ride to the sand and I just left it there.

What was the reason for the light shade? I am asking because i am going to place one in my living room and i do have a concern about the light being in my eyes everytime i sit on the couch and watch TV.
