RaymondNoodles
One of my kenya tree branches has been halfway closed up for a couple days and I noticed white crystals on the base. The other nearby keyna trees look fine. Nutrients in the tank are a little higher than normal currently - due for a water change. Typically the tank runs around 10-20 nitrates and .1-.2 phosphates. Currently at 25 nitrates and .22 phosphates. Should I try to manually remove the white crystals? Anyone familiar with this? 1 Quote Link to comment
Sturgi_0225
Looks like a sponge to me, not sure however if it’s good or bad. 1 Quote Link to comment
Reefkid88
Its a sponge. Probably growing there because its lower light, and lower flow making it easy to get food that floats thru the structure of the Kenya Tree. 1 Quote Link to comment

Tired
Yep, that's a sponge. Probably it's harmless, and that's not exactly a fussy, slow-growing coral they're on anyway. Quote Link to comment
