Xj reefing
A few months ago after I bought some macro algae for my fuge I found a baby sea cucumber. I posted on here when I first found it and didn’t get a confirmed species but now it’s grown a lot bigger I’m hoping someone might know what it is. The cucumber has lived in my sump and has been grazing on what ever is growing down there. 1 Quote Link to comment

I admit it does look scary at first, but it is an undeniably cool hitchiker/critter as well. 👀 1 Quote Link to comment
Tired
Neat! Clearly it's a detritus eater if it's been thriving down there, but I'm not sure how likely you are to get a full ID. There are a lot of sea cucumbers, and I don't imagine they're particulaly well-studied. Where was the algae from? Location in the world might help. Quote Link to comment
Xj reefing
I bought the chaeto from a store that only buys in Australian livestock. So it would of come from the Great Barrier Reef. I’m thinking it would have come in on a coral the bought and somehow got sucked down into where they keep their chaeto. Quote Link to comment
lakshwadeep
Great find! You might check here and also contact some researchers of sea cucumbers (Holothurians): https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/the-sea-cucumbers-holothurians-of-south-australia Quote Link to comment
