I love the intricacy of the rock work, but coral selection and placement ideas and suggestions is what I'm looking for. Current inhabitants: 2 wyoming whites 1 bicolor blenny 2 pompom crabs CuC 2 ricordea 1 mushroom 1 frogspawn Jackolantern leptoseris Fireworks leptoseris 1 Very sad favia Random zoas Tank is about 4 months old Steve's LED retrofit currently at 24% whites and 29% blues. Tired Posted June 8, 2022 Share Posted June 8, 2022 Your rockscape should definitely stay the same, but there are some good ways you could accentuate it. A branching coral or macroalgae somewhere in the top left could be good. That would extend the height upward with something different than rock and add some texture. Really, that arch is a good place to put branching corals in general, though you may want to only put them on one side. That might help the eye flow down to the rest of the tank. Some zoas on... maybe the middle right? would be nice. And that rock on the sandbed, in the right side of the tank, would be a great spot to put a couple of rock flower anemones. They'd stuff their feet down between the substrate and the rock and chill. Oh, and try moving the favia into the shade. Favias like low light, so giving it very low light for a bit may be worth a try. 1 Quote Link to comment
