Stand should hopefully be done by the middle of July, aluminum frame ¾ inch PVC board instead of plywood, granite top. Also update I am going with a different sump/refugium it is a total of 28 gallons in volume built by Mike at Micro Reef Aquariums.

Awesome!! I love mine from mike. Only wish was that it was bigger by space was limited

This one is 27½x18½x12½ lol so my sump will be bigger than the display tank 🤣

Also I went with a Deltec 600i skimmer since it is rated 55 gallons and up.

That’s awesome 😂😂 mines 16x11x12 just a baby!!

Did you find a stand or have pictures of the build yet?

No pics of the stand as of yet as it is just a aluminum frame as we speak, the guy building it does a lot of WWC big installation stands so mine is a side project for him, but it is wayyyyy over engineered lol.

Some more equipment I ordered for this build a Avast Skimmate Locker, and Avast ATO, I originally was going to use the Tunze Nano that I had for years it was on my last bigger nano but decided to try out the Avast ATO since it uses a pressure switch rather than a float switch. I bought the skimmate locker because I am lazy and this tank being a mangrove/macro reef and I probably will have a couple clams in it I will be feeding it pretty heavily and it will make it a little easier on skimmer cup emptying.

Also a pic of the updated skimmer, Deltec 600i this model has a few cool features, one is the CSM which is basically a wiper in the skimmer neck to keep it clean, the other cool feature is a cup overflow protection system.

This skimmer is rated for systems from 50 gal up to 160 gallons so I am at the low end at a total 48 gallons of volume.

Thinking about using these two Jebao 3500 DCW on this tank one for my UV sterilizer and the other as my main return, a little overkill but I have them laying around. I had to repurpose the two Varios 2 pumps on my 90 gallon for now the manifold pumps took a crap.

Here is another piece of equipment getting added to the mangrove macro reef, Mike over at Micro Reef Aquariums is making 2.5 gallon ATO reservoir dimensions are 12x4x12 using ½ inch sides and back in black ¼ inch clear front panel. Progress so far below.

🤣 It is a good looking ATO reservoir. I can have him make me another one just message me on here if you are serious about wanting one. The measurements of this one is 12x4x12 holds 2.5 gallons.

4 out of 8 Coral Box battery backups arrived, I went with these because it seems like the only premade option that will run 12 to 24 volts AI Nero 3, Jebao DC pumps (including my skimmer) and Kessil lights etc I live in Florida and hurricane season is a bitch.

Since I will be keeping at least 2 clams from my other system in this tank I am following suit with my 120 reef and starting the system with a Kalk stirrer and calcium reactor. I received the Avast Kalk stirrer today calcium reactor showing up soon. I will never run a system with a sump again without both of these pieces of equipment especially keeping clams and stoney corals.
