DSA65PRO Posted April 17, 2022 Share Posted April 17, 2022 What is the Maximum GPH Pump I can use on this aquarium? I have a inTank Media Basket. The defective pump that came with it was listed at 243 GPH. A Sicce 1.5 357 GPH Was recommended, but I want to make sure that pump isn’t too powerful. Actual volume of the Aquarium is 24 Gallons, which would give me a 14.9 turnover per hour. Will the return duckbill handle this? Quote Link to comment
DSA65PRO Posted April 22, 2022 Author Share Posted April 22, 2022 I installed a Sicce 1.5 357GPH 23 watts Cord 6 ft. ** Inlet / Outlet 1/2” MPT 3/8” or 9/16” Hose. This pump just fit in the third chamber, also I think this is the maximum GPH the rear compartment and Weir can handle. inTank Media Basket had no problem with this amount of flow. ** With included Strainer cover removed.
