Riona
Yes, my tank's STILL not old enough for coral. Anyway, the LFS I go to has a ton of "duncan" frags. In quotes because this is the most I've seen mine opened so far in the 2 weeks I've had it, they've been fragged in their tank for over a month and I've NEVER seen any polyp extension on theirs, so while I'm assuming it's right I can't be totally sure. The guy said he'd fragged them a while back, they DO all seem to be growing some tissue onto the plug, and this one seems to have a second head (at the back, so not in the photo) growing in on it. LFS guy's theory is that something in the tank is picking on them. Should I just be feeding it to get it to start trying to put some length onto them, or since it's trying to grow a bit, but the tentacles are still a bit teeny, should I leave it and let it get a bit bigger on its own before I try to? Try mysis, or should I grab something smaller that might be easier to take down first? Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
A healthy Duncan can grab and eat mysis just fine. With that being said, I’d leave this guy alone, and wait for him to open up, before I tried feeding him. 3 Quote Link to comment
