Anyways it skims extremely well however every time it is turned off I have to lift it to get a prime to begin skimming again. As long as you don’t turn it off it works perfectly. I had it in the drain chamber of my Red Sea Reefer 170 which is a great spot for it. Link to comment
mcarroll Posted December 13, 2021 Share Posted December 13, 2021 Sounds like it either needs a deep cleaning or maybe a new impeller. (Not expensive...$15 or so. But check with Tunze support and make sure you get the right model#. You can check on tunze.com as well.) Link to comment
