What is this white fluff

Stopped eating 2 days ago. Now this stuff on his belly. What is it?

Hard to see in the photo....does it look like super-inflated cells around its booty-area?

 

I don't remember seeing anything like that before (hopefully someone else can chime in)....but I know it's not a good sign if a fish stops eating.

Superiflated or tumerous looking cells. I euthanized it because I didn’t know what else to do. No signs of this on my other fish right now.

Sorry to hear, my closest guess would be constipation/anal blockage ( https://humble.fish/internal-issues/ ) did the fish show any signs of distress or irregular behavior.

Stopped eating and was hiding. Was previously my most aggressive fish

I did recently start feeding some San Francisco Brand Marine Cuisine. New food for my tank. Grasping for straws I know.

thats a prolapse. it can be terminal or it could be fine. it is mostly a "wait and see thing" it is impossible to prevent except for feeding your fish only the smallest food it can eat really.
