ubpr
Just found an aiptasia on the tank wall above gsp on a live rock. "F Aiptasia" or Aiptasia Fix looks like not for use on vertical surfaces and not above corals. Aiptasia-X was not helping much, from long ago experience. Alkaline kalwasser can wreak havoc in a small tank (5 gal), and again this is above coral, high risk of burning it. Try to inject a small amount of 3% peroxide? More concentrated in not easily available, being in Canada. Any other way that can work for a vertical wall? Quote Link to comment
Ratvan
boiling water or lemon juice in the mouth has always worked for me, or superglue over it 1 Quote Link to comment
filefishfinatic
you could get a majano wand that paul b invented. they kill any water based creature so dont be poking your corals with it 1 Quote Link to comment

DISQUALIFIED-QQ
I've actually used a really salty water to nuke aiptasia, almost to like a pasty texture. I have also used the alkalinity part of a 2 part and just went in with a plastic syringe and squirt in face. I also second super glue gel. Done it a number of times. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
Murphs_Reef
With aips X you need to carefully get up close, hit it in the centre of the disc and then smother it. Don't worry about the GSP, it will only kill polyps that have been directly hit, the colony will recover in days. 1 Quote Link to comment
