rough eye
so i found the detached Utter Chaos (i think) polyp sitting in the sand. I set up a small jam jar in the tank, put a few rock frags in there, and dropped the zoa in. Did i do the right thing? I can't tell where it landed. Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
If you’re not comfortable gluing a single zoa head down, that’s probably the best thing you could have done. You may get lucky, and it’ll attach to a piece of rubble as the mat grows. 1 Quote Link to comment

NoOneLikesADryTang
As long as the top is off, it should get enough to be ok. 2 Quote Link to comment
Murphs_Reef
Yeah just make sure it's got plenty of rock in the jar or you might find a zoa perched on the glass.. 1 Quote Link to comment
rough eye
so how long should i leave the jar with the rocks in there? i was thinking 2 weeks and then take them out and hope it attached to something. Quote Link to comment
NoOneLikesADryTang
A couple of weeks is probably long enough. I’d at least pull it a check to see if it did, or if it melted. 2 Quote Link to comment
