IM Nuvo 20/25, Middle Chamber Water Level Question

I have a IM Nuvo 25 Lagoon.  For the middle back chamber (which holds the return pump), what should the water level be?  Should it be lower than the baffle walls so water is flowing down to the pump?  Or should it be higher than those walls?  Or it doesn't matter?

I keep mine flowing down into the pump chamber just a little bit. It's also really important to do this if you run an ato, so the water level changes consistently. More stability is always better in my books

It should be 1/4" to 1 inch below baffle walls, it shouldn't be higher than the top of the baffle wall
