Just setting up my first reef tank

Hi all,

 

my tank so far has calcium plus at the bottom of the tank with a seperater and than sand. once i add the water and get the conditions right i plan to add live sand. My question is what rock is best for building the reef and if anyone is from the UK where can i mail order it from? what are the adventages of live rock against rock? i have a total of 45watts on my lighting system and after rock i think my tank will have about 15 gallons of water. is this enough lighting for corals?

Congrats on your first reef tank....gonna be a blast. There's tons of information in this forum (and others) about the advantages of live rock. Bottom line - plan on getting some. There are differing opinions on how much per gallon of water, and some of your decision will be personal preference.
