seabass Posted August 1, 2021 Share Posted August 1, 2021 If using live rock which was taken from the ocean, then (after a few days) you pretty much just have to wait for ammonia to become undetectable. This could be almost immediately, to up to a month. Once you can no longer detect ammonia, do a large enough water change to bring nitrate down to at least 10 ppm. 2 Quote Link to comment
