Dania Posted June 22, 2021 Share Posted June 22, 2021 I'm way too curious for my own good. I don't currently have any saltwater tanks but I do have a 10 gallon betta tank set up. Waiting to set up a 20 gallon and maybe a 2.5 gallon. I love hearing other peoples' stories and learning everything I can. I'm limited in what I can do since I share an apartment. I started with a 10g FW, then a 20g in a small apartment and then added a 2g - pretty much exactly the same as you and it worked out great. I didn't upgrade past that 20g for 10 years even when I had plenty of space - nanos and picos are just plain fun! Your roommate will thank you if you start with an AIO or a packaged rimless system - the biggest drawback of my 20g is that it looked like a mad scientist's experiment with equipment and wires all over.
