Tay Kendall
Hi there! I have a 2 month almost 3 month old 20 gal peninsula. I recently bought a feather duster because they are apparently "easy" well it seemed to be doing fine for a few days but today it's completely out of its tubing and not reacting to any touch. I know my tank is new, so I'm assuming it's dead. But would just like to double check with you all! Edited June 15, 2021 by Tay Kendall Spelling and wanted to add photo Quote Link to comment
LazyFish
They only abandon the tube when stressed but can rebuild it. It hasnt shed its crown that's a good sign. Hard to tell of it's dead or not seems rather tightly coiled for dead. If It's not desentigrating or anything I would leave it be for now and keep a close eye on it. Maby put it in an spot that's more sheltered so it feels safer rather than out in the open. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
