ewoolpert
I was wondering if someone could help ID this coral. Purchased as a Acan but now I am thinking Favia. Please let me know what you think. Also how do you guys tell the difference? Quote Link to comment
jservedio
I'd say favia because of the deeper ridges on the rim of the polyp and the protruding mouth. What does it look like deflated when you give it a poke and piss it off? Does it have any baby polyps? Those would help positively ID it. 1 Quote Link to comment
ewoolpert
I have not poked it and currently I am not at home. Currently it doesn’t have any baby polyps. The vote so far is 2-favia 2-Acan. Hard to get a for sure answer. Just don’t want to put something wrong near it. Quote Link to comment
ewoolpert
It doesn’t seem to change when messed with. What does this tell you? Quote Link to comment
