William
July 2022 I moved in may of 2021 and upgraded my Waterbox 70:2 to a Fijicube 108 EXT. After quite a few mishaps the tank was finally transferred in early June. In the first two weeks I lost my Mombassa lionfish and and flame angelfish due to an Ich outbreak. As things started to settle in with the tank, I was at a loss as to which direction I wanted to take the tank. I ended up deciding to make large anemones and Euphyllia the focus of the tank, with some SPS (mainly branching acros) to round it out. William
I went ahead and decided to take advantage of Marine depot’s JBJ chiller sale abs bought a 1/4 hp chiller. This will allow me to turn off the AC in my apt when I’m not there, hopefully saving me money over time Quote Link to comment

William
I thought I would give an update. I am pretty disappointed in the quality control and order fulfillment at Fijicube. The tank is beautiful and the stand (if I were able to finish building it) also looks good, but they sent the stand (flat pack) out with the wrong hardware kit (I’m 8 post and locks short), as well as with no Instructions. they also failed to send out the plumbing kit that I ordered. hopefully they can resolve these issues quickly… Quote Link to comment
William
The missing supplies arrived Saturday. I got the stand complete (minus doors) and the hard plumbing planned out. Now I just need to glue the plumbing…. 4 Quote Link to comment

William
I need to update the steps, but the move is done, I still need to review the bttm and set up the ancillary stuff, but everything is moved over. I also need to out the doors on it. I also ordered another Reefi Uno, as my partner thought having a Reefi duo extreme in the middle would be ugly 3 Quote Link to comment
William
I also need to scape the rocks 1 Quote Link to comment
William
Things are starting to look good. I need to finished moving most of my coral over from my nano tank. Is also picked up a Ritteri Anemone from Pacific East Aquaculture that is doing well so far. My clowns went to it in less than 5 mins. Quote Link to comment
William
Some updates: I am currently battling Ich in my tank 😞, I have lost my flame angel and Mombassa lionfish so far. My blue face trigger has it pretty bad, but has been getting better with freshwater + paraguard dips every other day. I plan to start up a 20L Qt tank in the next few days that I plan to make permenent. I also purchased another Riterri anemone, which is still getting acclimated. 3 Quote Link to comment

William
The Malu is the first pic, the second Riterri is the last pic. It is not doing quite as well as the first, but hopefully it will pull through. 1 Quote Link to comment
William
This is probably a better picture 1 Quote Link to comment

William
One of my Riterris is not doing great, so I moved it to a hospital tank with Cipro. Quote Link to comment
William
well the anemone somehow managed to get out of the colander and into the powerhead.... so its not going to make it.... I will have to be on the look out for another specimen from @PacificEastAquaculture as the one they sent me is doing wonderfully. I picked up a small Colorado Sunburst BTA form a fellow NYC reefer, and Will be putting it in the main display. I also got 3 different stags from him, a PC rainbow, and a cornbread montipora. With all of these setbacks, I have finally (after 20 years of reef keeping) decided to run a QT tank Quote Link to comment
William
Today I finished setting up the QT tank, did a freshwater dip on the Bluethroat trigger then put him in the QT tank (with copper and cloraquine phosphate) 1 Quote Link to comment
