Ai Prime Schedule

I am currently running two Ai primes on an Nuvo 20 Peninsula. I was wondering what setting you all run your lights at. I have the lights at about 8 inches over the surface of the water.

There's a few presets you can download on the AI website. I always quite liked 'Nano Karen', with a few small tweaks.

I also have two over the same tank. I use David Saxby but have changed it a bit over time, with one having lower levels than the other so I have an area for my high light stuff and an area for my low light stuff.

I have mine from 10am-8pm with a 1hr ramp.

Can you put too much UV? I like my tank to be bright.

 You can. UV/Violets are dim to the eye,but pack a punch with par. 

 

 If you want "bright" depending on your royal/blue percentages,bump up your regular blues a little.

I have a 16hd over my fluval 13.

here are my settings from 10:30-8:30 with hour ramp up and down

UV - 85

Violet - 95

RB - 95

Blue - 95

Green -15

Red - 20

White - 18
