NanoNick0107
Hi everyone, I am new to this whole reefing thing and am enjoying all the gains I have made so far. I just noticed these things growing out of the octospawn (euphyllia). I haven’t really noticed it before because it is at the back of the tank and I figured I would do a wellness check on it. Anyone seen this before? Is it just growing more? Something to worry about? The thing looks healthy and is thriving so I am not too concerned more just curious. thanks in advance Quote Link to comment
Zer0
If you’re talking about those brown/orange tubes sticking out, those are vermetid snail tubes. Do you ever see any webbing-type string/mucus coming out of them? If not, they’re probably uninhabited. Quote Link to comment
banasophia
Yes, vermetid snail tubes and the tiny white things look like probably spirorbid worms. https://www.melevsreef.com/critter/spirorbid-worms 1 Quote Link to comment
