Instant ocean disappointment

Anyone else having issues with regular instant ocean? 
 

mixed up some last night then adjust salinity after it mixed for 1o hours.

Ca 440

Mg 1500+
I know there are errors in our hobby kits but dang that seems extremely high for regular  instant ocean. Looking at switching to Aquaforest since I can get it locally unless I can find the Red Sea Blue bucket locally. I think the LFS 30 miles away has the Red Sea but the LFS 5 miles away has aquaforest.

Folks have this happen with any salt that has to be shipped.  I guess more shipping and handling = more settling.

 

Either re-mix the salt before you open a new container (still might be worth doing on yours), or even better buy the appropriate amount to use all in one shot.   I.e.  If you have a 10 gallon mixing container, get the 10 Gallon size of Instant Ocean.  There's no possibility of settling issues if you use the whole bag.
