Adiantum
I have not found much information on this genus (Knopia) in general, but I'd like to try some daisy polyps on my back glass. I want a good growing softy to eventually cover the glass but I don't particularly like GSP (although I think I'd like the purple variety ok) and Xenia can be invasive, as pretty as it is. Has anyone grown daisy polyps on glass? Or even grown them at all? Seeing as I can't find much in care tips. Would they be controllable like GSP? Quote Link to comment

Pretty much any soft coral that grows as a mat will work for your back glass as well as any encrusting SPS. Xenia wouldn't be a good candidate due to it's growth pattern. Also avoid Sarcothelia as it'll just eventually cover your entire tank and there isn't any way to control it and is incredibly invasive. Quote Link to comment
