FollyFish
When I looked a the bubble coral yesterday I noticed that it was touching rocks so I moved it. Today this is what it looks like. I have done an coral defense dip which states that it will treat microbial infections but is there anything else I can do? Quote Link to comment
Incitatus76
How long have you had it? Could it be too much flow, or not enough light? Quote Link to comment

The area has very little flow the area is well protected and mid range light. I know that the damage is because of rubbing against a rock. I am hoping to save it. Quote Link to comment

(ie it didn't originally grow there and wasn't familiar with the rock) How old is the tank? Can you post a full tank shot? Can you post you test results for phosphate? (Everything else you test too.) 1 Quote Link to comment
FollyFish
I ended up moving the coral to a new area in a corner under a power head. It bounced back and now has a second mouth. It has open back up and is being happily agressive as it should be. 1 Quote Link to comment
