Xj reefing
I am interested in making a reef bowl. I want to just have a jar and put a coral in it with a air stone and a light above it. What coral would be the best to try? I was thinking a coral that would let me know when it is unhappy so I could just move it to my main tank Quote Link to comment
Xj reefing
The jar would be 1.5 to 2 gallons. This would be just a test. Quote Link to comment

They give good feedback too. 3 Quote Link to comment
jservedio
Micromussa are fantastic as well - beautiful, extremely peaceful, and they are almost as varied as zoanthids. IMO best LPS for any pico. Blasomussa are excellent as well - no sweepers and they are very peaceful. 2 Quote Link to comment

Jungle_vip
Mushrooms (ricorida or Yuma at my fav), sinularia, toadstools, clove polyps (liams are popular). Although I’m not sure if you want a fast grower in your main tank if you decide to move over like mushrooms or cloves. Micromussa and blastos are excellent choices as well as zoas. Can never go wrong with zoas. 1 Quote Link to comment
