No don't feel that way at all. If I don't see an update today be 1:00pm EST then I will give them a shout and see whats going on. My feeling is that he trying to get some in or maybe they are not eating and doesn't feel comfortable shipping one out.  There could be a ton of reasons. I just hope that it will eat pods my population has exploded both copepods and Munnid isopods that it can eat for a while.  They are all breeding like rabbits hahahahaha

Received my tracking number for my kraken lid last night so I hope that it is here early this week. That is the great news the bad news is that my Clown Goby still has not shipped as of this morning. Going to give them until Wednesday and then call and cancel the order then call credit card company and protest the change to have it removed. I would have paid more elsewhere but for the three week waiting time and the fact that they already have my money this is a little ridiculous. Zero communication from the vendor as to why the delay, just a quick email saying that they are delays due to "whatever" would have satisfied me and I wouldn't be complaining. 

 

Edit: If the clown goby doesn't ship out tomorrow then I will cancel the order and have a Green Banded Goby waiting in the wings just in case.

Got impatient and emailed vendor to cancel order of clown goby. Once I get confirmation there are a couple vendors that have the Green Banded Goby in stock. 

 

Edit: Ordered Greenbanded Goby this morning I know LA has hit or miss reviews but they had it in stock.

It’s Christmas in late May lol. Kraken lid comes in this afternoon and I got the tracking number for my GBG and should be here tomorrow. Picked up some Hikari brine shrimp plus and Mysis to get it eating then will try and introduce pellets in the next couple of weeks. Pictures coming soon.

Thanks I was worried I had made a mistake not getting the feed cup but I like the clean slick look. I can’t wait to get my fish also. We are in finals week so tomorrow is a short day. Students are done testing by 12:10pm and fish is supposed the be here by 12:00pm. Good thing is my better half is working from home tomorrow so it won’t have to sit outside until I get home. It only has to wait until I get home to start acclimation.

Well my Greenbanded Goby came in 55 minutes early too. Rushed home as soon as I could to get him acclimating. This little thing is small. Maybe 1/2” long is all. Right now kind of hiding behind the rocks. Bought some mysis and brine shrimp but at his size one cube is going to to last a month hahahaha.

Should I try to spot feed it tonight a little brine shrimp or mysis?

He/She didn't eat but that was to be expected I think. Went from California to Memphis then back to Texas. Been hiding behind my big rock and there are pods that like to stay back there as well so i sure that he might be picking some of those off the glass.  Will try again when I get home form work this afternoon. Short day today last day of School (Yea Summer break and teachers dream hahahaha). Still have two school related trips in June and July though so not much of a vacation.

Little guy is getting a braver and moving around the bigger rock. Watched it pick something off the rock and eat it probably a pod. wife wants a coral banded shrimp now

I think so she just wants something that moves around the tank. Don’t like Petco but they have three in stock. Going to call the LFS I trust and see if they have any. Was there the day after I order this guy and they had a citron goby 🤦‍♂️but it was pale colored. They had a bunch of Mandrins though. Just watched this little guy eat a pod wish I would have had my phone ready.

Wife came back with coral banded shrimp lol she named it Jacque from finding Nemo hahahaha.

Got some time to update. First of all I wasn’t happy with fritz rpm and so as I ran out went with Red Sea Blue bucket and invested in refractometer calibration fluid. Come to figure out it was off. My salinity was at 41ppt no wonder why some of my zoas were unhappy. So for the last 10 days I brought my salinity down to 35ppt with Red Sea and wow the difference is amazing. Some zoas that haven’t opened sense I put them in the take are open now. Cant says the salt but my tank is much clearer. Plus not with fish and shrimp that I am feeding PO4 and NO3 are up.

Nice man! I’m glad you were able to figure that out. I highly recommend the Hanna digital salinity/temp reader. Amazing.

That is what I have but the colors don’t pop from a distance. Maybe it’s the way I have my lighting.

I will say that I’m pretty sure this goby nailed all the flatworms as well. Haven’t seen one in weeks.

Everything coming from California goes through Memphis it seems. Cost me some fish this past winter when everything stalled out up there. You’d think they could just ship direct to huge cities like Houston when it’s a live animal. 
 

And yes that’s a reply to a month old comment. Mom brain 🤦🏽‍♀️

No worries you would think but it’s a business so less main hubs means less employees to have to pay and less tracking lost packages and where they went.
