Bantha
I have an empty superfish aqua 30 guppy, which is a 14 x 9 x 13, 6.6 gallon freshwater tank. It is quite tall and narrow. I want to use it as a reef tank, but I may want to keep the lid. So for lighting I am considering the submersible tunze led eco chic 10W (marine 8811 or white 8821) € 55, or Tunze Led full spectrum 8850 26W, about € 140. If going with the 10W, I'm not sure if I should take the marine version or the white version which supposedly has higher a higher PAR. I kinda want at least some blue light to see nice coral colors though. Maybe I should take both? But then I might just want to go all in with a single Tunze 8850 full spectrum led instead. However, with that light I'm a bit concerned about the tank heating up considering the lid, although the diodes are highly efficient at providing much light per watt and the intensity is adjustable. What do you think is the best choice for my tanks properties? Quote Link to comment
Clown79
The full spectrum would be the best, or the 50/50 but you will get less colour pop from the 50/50 Quote Link to comment
