Carnthetiges
Hi guys, hoping you can ID this for me. I'm five weeks into my 15g waterbox. Old owner included live rock, substrate and some water that had been kept fresh. In the last fortnight i noticed something at the bottom of one of the pieces of live rock that looked fleshy, it's now got a distinct 'head'. I thought it might be a mushroom but it has a stem that's 2-3cm long running back into the rock - does that sound right? It disappears at night, will normally return a little after the lighting fully ramps up. This my first reef tank, intention was to only keep soft corals -leathers, kenya tree, GSP, zoas etc. If it is a mushroom is there anything i need to know compatibility wise? Cheers Quote Link to comment
