JSinger884
I am thinking of buying 2x36w AH lights for my 30 gallon tank. Will I be able to keep any coral towards the top of my tank? Link to comment
tinyreef
bump you can keep a number of corals but they're more likely going to have to be 'low-light' or 'no-light' corals. (I said Bud Light! sorry about that, ) mushrooms, some toadstools (not the golden ones though), basically the weed corals. i only grow weed corals. i want my lawn and tank to match. Link to comment
SteveC
If you've got a 30g tank, it's probably either 36" long (standard) or 24" long (30X), right? If it's 36", you can fit AH Supply's 96w kit over it, and if it's 24" you can use their 55w kit. I would use something like that. 2x96w would give you 192w--over 6w per gallon, which they say is enough to grow most of the more undemanding corals. Link to comment
