You can't have enough to skim surely I think by conventional standards I'm planning on overstocking it heavily and carbon dosing, so it needs a skimmer to deal with the bacterial load if anything Quote Link to comment

I’ll get one on Amazon, it seems to be growing some diatoms now. There’s also a tiny clam that seems to be alive. Live rock is exciting 23 hours ago, Grimes said: How much water does it hold It’s 33x25x22cm (not full to the brim), so 5 gallons less the live rock Quote Link to comment

I think bare bottom, I’m hoping to attach everything directly to the one chunk of rock so it can be lifted out in one and the tank scrubbed when needed, I really like the clean simplicity of the setup! 22 hours ago, debbeach13 said: What did you add? Grimes was right, i added two little bubble tips, gonna feed them every second day and get them to take over some of the rock if I can! 16 hours ago, Grimes said: Looks like a little bubble tip It is! It’s expanded some already, I definitely need to get some snails or hermits in here for algae control, tempted to get a sexy shrimp or something to sit with the nems. 2 Quote Link to comment
