Ways to Target Feed Nassarius Snails.

Anyone know of any good ways to target feed Nassarius Snails? I was thinking of just dropping some food on the sandbed for them, would that be sufficient?

Maybe I feed mine (and all my fish) brine and Mysis shrimp

There just like little tiny shrimp that are meaty and full of protein

Anything that puts suitable food (which is most things) where they can easily eat it (which is most of your sandbed) will work. That being said, the only real reason to keep nassarius is to clean up uneaten food. If you have to specifically feed them, they're sorta pointless. They don't really stir the sandbed, because they don't move around in it- they just lurk in it. Ceriths are a bit better about stirring.

I would not go out of my way to feed any of my snails.  They are part of the clean up crew, so in my thinking, they need to work for their food and.. well.. clean up!  Target feeding should be a last resort if you think there is literally nothing for them to scavenge, and if that is the case, they probably do not need to be in your system.  Hope this helps!

I don't feed my cuc. They get what's left over, detritus, algae.
