Please rest for a day or two. My doctor said the exact same thing today during my specialist appointment. I'll definitely be taking a short break. A part of me is very eager to start emptying my 60G of some of the sand, but I'll refrain and do something lighter - like scrape the glass (it's quite filthy) since I can't see my own fish properly. I'm leaving the nano as it is, but will still keep up with the regular dosing schedule and feed the fish & inverts. Otherwise, I won't be dipping my hands into the tank. 2 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Did a 80% WC today and replaced the media. Tank is a bit cranky, but not too bad. At least the glass is clean. 👍 Also, it appears the last bit of the Peacock blue zoas have melted away. Sad to see this morph go, but some of these wild morphs tend to be happy one day, then gone the next. 😕 *Might pick up 2 or 3 more zoa morphs and some shrooms in the future, but not anytime soon. Snow_Phoenix
Just discovered the tank's salinity is a bit on the low side at 1.023, which would explain why some of my corals are still a bit moody. I think 2 or 3 days of evap. + no top-offs should eventually pull it back up to 1.024/1.025. Since some pieces are still retracted, I managed to get a better look at the *hidden frags around the tank which are often overshadowed by their neighbors. 😊 Fascination favia has colored up when I wasn't looking: And the hidden leopard discosoma looks pretty neat too: Valida stick is finally turning purple again, with green tips: Green leptastrea is staying a strong shade of green: And the Zoa Garden is intact for the most part: I'll try to take the monthly FTS once everything has settled down and stopped mooching. 👍 2 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Truly wish I could frag this somehow, to be added in my 60G in the future: Geralt mooching in the duncan: Ironman discosoma: Just realized I now have 6 candy cane heads! 🥰 1 Quote Link to comment

It actually does take a fair bit of work and there are ups & downs (which is pretty standard for any reeftank), but I do love it very much. 2 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Forest fire digi garden from above: Merlettis! 🥰 Pickle and her brain coral. 😊 : Looks like the pavona will have 2 *scars. 😕 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
The Zoa Garden. 😊👍 The Gold Mauls are partially closed because Harvey the saron shrimp stepped on them in his quest for fallen pellets. I like the my tiny Malayan rainbow acans though! They're super-slow growers in this system, but remain small, which makes them ideal for a nano crammed with corals. 😅 2 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
The pavona is finally regrowing over the bald patches and recovering! 🥰 I just noticed how smaller and less prominent the two little *scars on the coral has become today, as compared to yesterday: 1 Quote Link to comment

Snow_Phoenix
Mushroom Mountain is a riot full of color today. 💦 Absolutely loving seeing all the different types of rhodactises and discosomas pressed up against each other. 🥰 1 Quote Link to comment
Snow_Phoenix
Various zoas and palys. 😊 Please excuse the Gold Mauls; they've been quite cranky of late. Also excuse the variances in hues between shots - it still drives me nuts how distance and angles mucks up coral colors in pics. 😕 1 Quote Link to comment
