Is that a plate skeleton the zoas are attached to?( It’s hard to see for sure in the pic.)—Baby plates can regrow on a dead skeleton. Quote Link to comment
moose2823 Posted November 9, 2020 Author Share Posted November 9, 2020 Its an old old piece of shell that I've had for years. I do have a plate coral in the tank, but its a green slipper coral, not anything that resembles these. They are hard (I poked), and sorta resemble my orange lepto. I have several lepto varieties and an orange pavona, all of which are doing well, but this is far away from those and the shape would imply sexual reproduction ?!?! IDK what other conclusion to draw....I haven't put anything new into the tank in almost a year 1 Quote Link to comment
