Belzonte - 15g cube no skimmer

Hello guys.

After some months, I decided to documment a journal of my nano reef.

 

First day of the reef: 15/02/2020

 

Here are some specs:

Display: 40x40x35 cm (aprox 15 gal)

Sump: 35x32x30 cm

Return pump: Jebao DSC2000

Light: Maxspect Celestial C35F (previously I had a Spectra Aquaknight V2)

Heater: a generic one connected to a Coel

Cooler: generic PC cooler 120mm

Mechanical filtration: filter floss

ATO: two float sensors connected to a return pump

 

Corals:

Kenya tree

Sinularia

Cloves papaya

Discosoma

Rhodactis

Luttuce leather

Palythoa

Zoanthus

 

Fishes: a pair of clownfish

 

Invertebrates:

About 10 nishi snail

2 dwarf hermit crab

1 bubbletip anemone

 

Routine:

- change filter floss twice a week

- 10 liters water change weekly

 

Corals that I had but decided to give away:

- a big green Rhodactis

- palythoa armor of god

- duncan aussie

About the sump, its pretty simple.

 

On the right is my fresh water. It has a return pump to top off water, a heater and a circulation pump. When I do a water change, I fill fresh water to the 10 liters mark and mix the salt there by just turning on the pump and heater switch.

 

On the left side, the water pass through the filter floss and return to the display. I have 2 float sensors for water level, a heater, a return pump and a piece of rock.
