About porcelain crabs

I used to have a Pom Pom crab in my 10 gal years ago and did well. I target fed it. Now I am considering a porcelain crab either for my 10 gal or 30 gal, the 30 gal has one blue legged hermit. Can they be housed together or should I keep them separate? I know hermits in the past have killed my ceriths so I only keep trochus snails with hermits in the same tank.

Porcelain crabs are pretty docile. They are filter feeders so you shouldn't have an issue with them.

I can't same the same for pom pom crabs. I know mine killed things including another pom pom

Thanks! @sublunary I know sometimes hermits can be murderers, good to hear it can work out.

Porcelain crabs have large claws and can and will defend themselves if needed. I have never seen a hermit mess with them.
