Reefer-begginer
Hey guys. So last night I went ahead and bought a dicho clam ( what it was posted as ), but I am pretty sure this isn't that type of clam. I'm not really sure its a clam as it looks like a oyster atleast to me based on shell shape. Any help appreciated http://imgur.com/gallery/zv2hn2F Quote Link to comment

The mantle color looks like a dersa and dersa clams when small are actually thin, the shell doesn't grow wide until they get larger. I am no expert on clams but if I saw that in a store, I would think it was a dying dersa clam. In which case the person who sold it needs to be slapped. Was it fully open at the store? 1 Quote Link to comment
Reefer-begginer
It was about half open when I bought it, but its been pretty much fully open since I got it, I had turned the lights off and back on a few hours later before I took the photos Quote Link to comment
