Eggs or algae

I noticed this orange mass on one of macro algae plants. At first I thought it was eggs from my 6 porcelain crabs or pistol shrimp 🦐 but now I’m wondering if it’s some sort of algae. I can see what appears to be round spheres inside but can’t tell if they’re eggs or gas bubbles.  They seem too uniform for gas bubbles. 
Any thoughts would be welcome.

No pairs of fish.  16 gallon bio cube with yellow flasher wrasse, watchman goby and court jester goby. Hermit crabs, snails, porcelains crabs and one decorator crab.

Looks like tunicates to me.
