Reefer-begginer
Do you guys ever just wake up, see a "dead" shrimp carcass and think, well that shrimp died. Only for him to appear 4 hours later like "hiya b****". Sometimes I hate and love shrimp because their molts look just like a dead version of them, and for me, waking up to see a coral banded shrimp ( 80$ large shrimp ) dead in the corner of your tank and find him hours later after you removed what little remains of the said molt Quote Link to comment
Tired
I honestly haven't mistaken a molt for a shrimp. They're pretty transparent. Got scared by a molting pistol shrimp for a second, it looked weird and unhealthy until I realized what was going on. Quote Link to comment
Reefer-begginer
All that was left of the molt when I woke up was its 2 giant claws and whiskers?, I didn't see any clear bodily remains so I thought one of my peppermints and hermits got to it 1 Quote Link to comment
Tired
Ah, oof. Yeah, I've had hermit crabs scare me a bit, the legs on their molts are solid colored. Quote Link to comment
Reefer-begginer
Then again, if the shrimp died, I doubt I'd see the remains Quote Link to comment
