chaostactics
Are there any alternatives to compact pumps (100 gph-160gph range) where the >>> power cord exits at the top rather than the back<<< of the powerhead? Also that are in stock/still sold. 1 Quote Link to comment

RedCrow
MJs are a bit expensive, but there really is no equal. The first one I ever owned I bought used, and it ran with no issues for about 8 years till I gave it to a new hobbyist. Quote Link to comment

I just want it to slide in an out without too much fuss and most importantly without bending the hell out of the power cord. 1 Quote Link to comment

Both the 606 and aqueon need mods to fit in the spec The aqueon didn't slide in easily even after the mod. Worst part of the mods is not being able to control the flow and the pump gets clogged quickly. 1 Quote Link to comment

The mods for those are at least minimal and you dont have to unnaturally bend the power cord which is my biggest concern. I dont mind the non controllable part. Im hoping the pad in my media rack will pick up enough crud to extend intervals between pump cleanings. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tamberav
This one might work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07XGDH7QD/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_3?smid=A2KTJWGR4DTHL7&psc=1 Quote Link to comment
chaostactics
@Tamberav yea someone else pointed me toward that one the problem is is that the power cord comes out the back instead of the top so it gets really strained/torqued putting it in and out of the rear chamber.
