New Reefer Dude Posted September 18, 2020 Share Posted September 18, 2020 Can some explain to me what is going on with the blue tuxedo sea urchin i have had a few them and yet had experience this until today. I stopped my overflow and feed the tank REEF-Roids and observing the tank i noticed the sea urchin look like it was smoking , oozing , im not sure what to call it . or to even know if its good or bad Quote Link to comment

Releasing either eggs or sperm in hopes that those will mix with the matching gametes of another urchin to make fertilized eggs. Unrelated to the reef roids, and harmless to your tank.
