mmerranko
I was wondering if anyone would be able to explain to me how I could go about making an acrylic tank. I'm just starting out on my first nano-reef project for my dorm room and read everything about nano-reefs. I sorta have a mentor with an 3gal. Eclipse system going right now up the hall from me. But I want to make my project as custom as possible. So any input would be helpful. Thanks, Matt Link to comment

Rmcm2424
Me and my roommate did tons of research on that topic last year and made a dew attempts, it's harder than it looks but it can be done with lots of practice. That's the main thing is practice. We got better and better at it. We everntually gave up though because buying acrylic to practice with is not cheap... Link to comment

EnderG60
this is the site that i got most of my good info off http://www.duboisi.com/diy/BNdiytank/bndiytank.htm also a good tip is to use really thin wire(i used stripped twist ties) and put them about every 12" between the 2 parts being joined. apply your solvent and then after about 30 sec remove the "pins" and wipe up the excess, make sure its all striaght and bam your done Link to comment
