Crab eggs?

Hi all!

 

I’ve tried to do some research on what’s next for this blue legged hermit crab. I noticed when she was trying to switch shells that she had eggs attached to her. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Oh, neat. Unfortunately, I don't think those eggs will make it to adults- hermit crab larvae go through several planktonic stages, and plankton don't do well in anything but the most specialized aquaria.

Thank you for your comment. I wasn't too sure what would happen 🤔 do you think that she will release the eggs at some point?

I'm sure she eventually will. Something will probably eat them at that point.
